Bbic Brighten Being with Innovation & Culture
The meaning of the above is--
"Why is the river so clear? The reason is that there is the living water from the source." In daily life, have you ever felt aimless, powerless and pressure too high,...? At that period,
-- what is the the living water from your life source?
Where can we find the living water for our life? Each person will have his/ her own ways to find it out. One of them is learning from the wise, the ancient and the sage,... Then, we modify their stuff to be ourselves' spirit spring source.
BBIC devotes herself to bringing spirit spring into our daily life. Hope this will make our daily life a little better.
Recently, we shall recommend you Lao Zi (or Lao Tzu of Philosophical Taoism), Su Shi (poet) and Bodhidharma (the originator of Zen (Chan) sector of Buddhism),...

First, let us introduce Lao Zi to you.
Lao Zi is one of those two originators of Philosophical Taoism. The only work of Lao Zi is Tao De Jing (The Scripture of Way & Virtue). Although there are only about 5000 sentences within this book, it is one of the most profound canons for Taiwanese & Chinese. The emblem at the right-top is of Taoism. It includes at least two main concepts in Tao De Jing.
a. Diaster and Luck often include each other.
b. When the event (or object) reaches the utmost, it must begin to veer to the opposite.

Let's digest the above from our familiar last history-- world financial crisis. During Aug/ 2008, the price of raw oil is higher than $USD140 and the prices of all kinds of raw material are very high,... Almost most of the people think the crisis had already gone. If you tell somebody there will be a very big economic drop, you will be a "crazy" person. But, after the utmost, what happens during Sep/ 2008 and Mar/ 2009-- who is the "crazy" guy? And then, after the utmost (Mar/ 2009), what happens during Apr/ 2009 and Sep/ 2009. What are the prices of most of raw materials from their lowest point-- What "the Way" of economic is.

During your life history, do you have the same experience? Do you feel Lao Zi say some words in your spirit? Or, he give you some edification to your spirit. He use less than 10 words to explain these two concepts! Now, do you find why Tao De Jing is so brief but it is considered as the most profound canon for Taiwanese & Chinese?

We all know the benefits of "full". Have you ever thought about the function of "empty"? Human being would always like to "take the lead". Have you ever thought about the danger of "taking the lead"? Tao De Jing is just like the sage's whisper which gives us many reverse-common-sense but real hints of life. We shall introduce more about Lao Zi and his work to you in the future.

Second, introducing Bodhidharma for you.
Bodhidharma (about 1500 years ago) is the originator of Zen (Chan) sector of Buddhism. Bodhidharma had been the prince of one nation of southern India before he became a monk. Later, he came to China to preach Zen. After six generations preaching of six Zen masters (Bodhidharma is usually considered as the first master of Zen), Zen sector became widespread in China. Before Bodhidharma came back to India, he handed the leading responsibility of preaching Zen down to the second master-- Whe Ker. He told Whe Ker that:
When the leader of preaching Zen had been handed down to the sixth master (generation), it is not necessary to choose the next leader. Because Zen would be widespread at that time. But, the persons who know the way of Zen will be a lot more than the persons who realize the way of Zen. And, the persons who talk about Zen will be a lot more than the persons who digest Zen.

There are too many funny (or profound) stories in the Zen history to say all of them. Just like the above Chinese word-- Zen, it is formed with two words. Here, we can only introduce two main teachings of Zen.

a. Pure: at each moment, there is just the only one thing in our spirit/universe.
Take an example, when we eat (wash our body, walk, or do anything), there is just the only one and important thing in the universe of our spirit-- "eating" at that moment. And, we need do our best to "eat". We need "truly" find out the tastes of the vegetable, the meat and the drink,... We need "truly" enjoy with them. Then, we are living "truly" at that moment. How many persons do we really "eat" the real taste of any one stuff in our last meal. If we do not, at our last meal, do you think: we live (eat) "truly" at that moment.

b. Live at the present.
How long have you already lived? 25 years, 43 years or 67years. How long do we think our lives will be? 60 yeasr, 80 years or 100 years. If we shall die in 5 hours, 3 days or 1 month, are "the past" and "the future" still important? One Zen master said:
Life is just the only one moment-- the present.
If we will die in one day, what is important to you? The hateful one who you complain the most, the beautiful and big house which you shall buy when you shall be rich some day, the famous brand bag you desire so long,... Are these answers right for you? The answer may be-- talking something (attentively) to the ones who you love, have a (truly) good meal with your best family/freind, look at (truly) the green tree and the blue sky, (truly) enjoy the breeze,...
In all probability, you shall not die tomorrow. But, how long you have already lived, have you ever "truly" done the above easy but important thing? When we live at "the past" or "the future", where our true lives elapse? Have we ever "truly" lived? Until now, how many hours does it (truly living) take in our whole life after we became "adult???"??

Zen is no more a religion again; it has already become one kind of life style/attitude. We don't want to promote any religion to anyone. But if you can stay in your original religion and you will get more and more peace and happiness from some new life ideas, stytles or attitude (combining with your original faith). It will be our great honor. Just like master Bodhidharma said, " the persons who know Zen will be a lot more than the persons who realize Zen.", please keep in mind that--
The factor that decides which kind of person we shall be is not what we know; it is what we do (act).
We shall introduce more about Zen to you in the future.

Somebody says-- If we do not feel the paradise now, we shall not meet it in the future.
How can we approach the paradise gradually? The way may be to live "truly" at each present moment, to find ourselves' identity & to become ourselves little by little in our soul.
From this present moment, it is time to get in touch ourselves' spirit gradually.
If you think the above is good for your life, please join the movement-- share these concepts, life stytles or attitude to the ones who you would like. Hope all of us shall approach the paradise gradually as time goes by!

For your health: traditional self-treatment for flu to ease the symption
Recently, H1N1 has been already widespread. Here, we will introduce one traditional self-treatment for flu which we have already tested several times. It is easy, very cheap & can ease your symption effective (of course, you still must go to see a doctor). Please follow the following steps--
Step1: Wash your feet to clean.
Step2: Use a container to contain hot water (temperature: as high as you can sustain; height: a little higher than your thenar height in the container).
Step3: Put about 5%(weight) salt into the hot water.
Step4: Dip your feet into the hot salt water & shake them at least 15 minutes or until you feel the water not hot again.
Step5: Use pure hot water (no salt) to wash your feet to clean again.
Step5: Go to sleep as soon as possible.
Note:
a. You can do this everyday until you feel good.
b. If you can not sustain too hot water. You can set the tempture of hot water gradually higher 2~3 times. But, remember to maintain the salt-concentration the same. This modification may be better.
Share with you. May Buddha, God & Allah bless all of us. If you feel this method is helpful, welcome to make this self-treatment widespread.
